Balwen

Size 30x30cm. Since 2018, I have been needle felting my way through the Rare Breeds Survival Trust watchlist. 10% of rare breed sales goes to RBST. The Balwen is classified as 'at risk' by the RBST and comes from Central Wales.  I used wet felting, needle felting and machine embroidery techniques with  wool, silk and bamboo fibres to create this piece.
