Herdwick lamb and foxgloves

Size: 30x40cm. Herdwick are born black and begin to get their white faces when they are a few months old- in the summer when the foxgloves are out, whihc is what inspired this picture. I used Herdwick wool for the Herdwick and home syed Whitefaced Woodland and Bluefaced Leicester for the background. The foxgloves are embellished with hand stitching. This picture is framed  and currently on display at the Wool Clip in Caldbeck.
