Highland Cow

Size: 40x40cm. This cow was photographed on the Isle of Skye but needle felted here in Cumbria. I used wet felting, needle felting and machine embroidery. The fur is both local wool and alpaca. Background colours are dyed Whitefaced Woodland, Blueface Leicester and silk. This picture is framed and currently on display at the Royal Hotel, Dockray, CA11 0JY and may be purchased from there.
