Kelpie 2

Each picture is 30x30cm. A Kelpie is an aquatic spirit from Scottish legend. Its name may derive from the Scottish Gaelic words ‘cailpeach’ meaning colt. Kelpies are supposed to haunt rivers and streams, usually in the shape of a horse. This one is made with a variety of wool, silk, bamboo and synthetic fibres.
