Przewalski's horse

£205.00Price

Size: 30x30cm. I photographed these horses in the Highland Wildlife Park. They are a rare, endangered breed of wild horse from the steppes of Central Asia. They are thought to have split from domestic horses between 160,000 and 38,000 years ago. They even have a different number of chromosomes. This portrait was created using both wet felting and needle felting techniques using locally sourced wool an alpaca fibres. Unframed.
