Soay

Size 30x40cm. Since 2018, I have been needle felting my way through the Rare Breeds Survival Trust watchlist. 10% of rare breed sales goes to RBST. The Soay  is classified as 'at risk' by the RBST. I was fortunate enough to be able to photograph this one locally. I used wet felting, needle felting and machine embroidery techniques with wool, silk and bamboo fibres to create this piece.
