White Hebridean lamb

Size: 30x30cm. Hebridean sheep are more usually black. In the past, other colours, including a reddish black and a dark grey were culled. This one is particularly unusual as he also has four horns. The dark markings on a lambs coat generally fade to pure white. I used both wet felting and needle felting techniques for this piece. I usually source my wool locally, but this piece  includes some wool from the farm where I photographed the lamb in Sutherland, The Hirsel. This picture is framed.
