Whitefaced Woodland

Size 30x30cm. Since 2018, I have been needle felting my way through the Rare Breeds Survival Trust watchlist. 10% of rare breed sales goes to RBST. The Whitefaced Woodland is classified as 'vulnerable' by the RBST. There is a flock of these nearby in the Ullswater valley. I used wet felting, needle felting and machine embroidery techniques with  wool, silk and bamboo fibres to create this piece.
